Teacher Resources Center (TRC)

The Teacher Resources Center (TRC) is Chowan's curriculum laboratory, maintained for the teacher-education students. The TRC is housed on the bottom floor of Whitaker Library, and is open all of the same hours as the library. The Center contains current state-adopted textbooks in licensure areas, as well as curriculum guides, thematic activity books, big books, and professional books relating to the conceptual framework areas stressed by Chowan's education program. TRC materials may be checked out of Whitaker Library by students, faculty, staff or public patrons who have joined the Friends of Whitaker Library.
