Chowan University's Learning Center is here to provide support services for any student that has a documented disability, because
we want you to know that we have faith in your future too. Chowan will maintain a
mutual respect and courtesy for all our students, disabilities or not, and Chowan will always strive to educate all those who seek a better future.
The Learning Center provides equal access opportunities and disability support services to students who have documented disabilities. These include, but are not limited to, the establishment and coordination of academic accommodations, auxiliary aids and programs to qualified students with disabilities.
Chowan encourages prospective students with disabilities to contact The Learning Center
as early in the admissions process as possible. Contact Ms. Candace Simms, Disability Services Coordinator, with additional questions or for assistance with this service.
