School of Business DeanPosition
Chowan University is currently accepting applications for Dean, School of Business. The dean has responsibility for oversight of all academic programs, scholarship, service activities, program review, strategic planning, resource management, human resource development and development of undergraduate curriculum. The dean is expected to teach a minimum of two classes each semester. The dean reports to the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs. Position requires an earned doctorate in a discipline within the school’s areas of responsibility and a record of academic achievement that would qualify the candidate for appointment at the rank of associate professor/professor. Candidates must be committed to undergraduate teaching, advising, and the mission of a Christian university.

Chowan University is a graduate, coeducational, residential, church-related university located on a beautiful campus in northeastern North Carolina in the historic town of Murfreesboro.
