Graphic CommunicationPosition
The William A. Krueger School of Graphic Communication invites applications for a tenure-track, eleven-month position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 2010. Successful candidate must be capable of developing curriculum content that addresses both fundamental and advanced topics in Graphic Communication with specific talents in digital printing and publishing (estimating, strategic trends and costing issues, production management, marketing, and sales management for digital printing, including ecommerce), expertise in digital media applications, to include Adobe CS4, digital content/asset management, cross media applications, variable data applications & design, and database management (with an emphasis on relational databases for digital media). An earned doctorate, U.S. industry experience and successful teaching experience are required. Chowan University is a graduate, coeducational, residential, church-related university located on a beautiful campus in northeastern North Carolina in the historic town of Murfreesboro.
