Dual Enrollment

Don't want to immerse yourself in full time studies? Chowan University offers part-time enrollment and, for high school students seeking college credit, dual enrollment.

If you want to pursue part-time enrollment or dual enrollment, follow these steps:

1. Complete the on-line application for admissions
2. Submit official high school transcripts to the Admissions Office
3. If you have taken the SAT or ACT, submit your scores to the Admissions Office.

Dual enrollment students must also schedule an appointment with the Dean of Admissions and submit a recommendation from the principal or a current teacher. To schedule an appointment with the Dean of Admissions, click here.

Part-time or dual enrollment students can take up to 11 hours of courses and must live off-campus.
