Chowan University’s International Students are
a vital part of the Chowan Family.

This year, our International Students Club won the prestigious “Mission and Vision Cup”, a first place accomplishment given to the very best of all campus clubs and organizations!
The ISC’s presiding student, Corine Domingo from India, also won this year’s “Officer of the Year” Award!
Holding many positions on this year’s President’s and Dean’s Lists for their academic excellence, one of the International Students, Stephanie Proano from Ecuador, was even inducted into the President’s Perfect Club for having a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average!
Chinedu Iwuora from Nigeria was given the honor of the School of Business’s “Student of the Month” and won this year’s “Outstanding Student in Economics” Award from the Business faculty!

These are just a few examples of what International Students can do while at Chowan University!

International Students have also created beautification projects around campus and the city of Murfreesboro, held food drives to help the area shelters and churches, and created global awareness and education through International Festivals on campus and across the region.

Not to mention the International Students proudly represent Chowan University at the annual International Student Conference held in the sunny spring season at beautiful Oak Island on North Carolina’s famous coast!
