Why I chose to come to Chowan University?

I came to CU because of its small and caring environment it offers to its students. I love to be in a place where everyone knows each other and can interact on a daily basis. Unlike big universities, Chowan offers all its students the time and one-on-one attention not only with other peers, but also with the professors.

What I enjoy most about Chowan?

I love hanging out with my friends, especially my "International friends". I love the fact that Chowan supports us internationals and is trying to explore our culture and giving us an opportunity to understand and fit into theirs.

How did I adjust to living here/expectations?

Because of loving and caring friends and faculty members like Ms. Jill Awuni, adjusting to Chowan was not very difficult. I also expect a better future for the Internationals at CU.

What is my favorite class/professor?

My favorite classes were Chemistry 101 & 102 taught by Dr. Faile. He is also my advisor. He is an awesome professor and is always willing to help his students at any time.

What do I want to do after I graduate?

After graduating from CU, I'm planning on going to grad school for Dentistry. Hopefully, one day, I will be a proud Dentist who owes her educational strengths and values to Chowan University.
