Applying to Chowan University is easy:

1. Submit an application for admission
2. Submit an official high school transcript
3. Submit SAT or ACT scores
4. Schedule a campus visit

If you are a transfer student, we will also need official college transcripts from all colleges attended and the Transfer Questionnaire Form.

Each applicant is reviewed on an individual basis with emphasis on:

• GPA
• High school rank
• Course curriculum, especially during the Senior year
• SAT 1 and/or ACT scores
• Extracurricular activities in and out of school  

Students will be assigned an admissions counselor to help guide them and their through the admissions, financial aid, housing, and registration process.

Applicants will be notified of an admissions decision within 72 hours of a completed admissions file (completed application, high school transcript, and test scores).
