Business Administration

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration provides a general background in the major areas of business, management, accounting, finance, economics, and marketing. The program is designed to prepare students for advancement in various occupations and professions.

To be eligible for admission, prospective students must have an associate's degree or have completed a minimum of 64 credit hours from an accredited college or University. Chowan accepts credit earned through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) prior to enrollment and through the end of the first semester of enrollment. Veterans who submit acceptable military records of educational experience or training during their service may receive academic credit consistent with the most current guidelines of the American Council on Education.

All students must complete a minimum of 124 credit hours, 36 of which must be completed at Chowan. Credit hours taken at a Chowan off-campus site cannot exceed 60 credit hours. Students may take an unlimited number of credit hours, to include both traditional in-class and online classes, through Chowan's main campus.
