Dr. Kirk E. Peterson

Education:
Kirk E. Peterson received his B.S. degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse. He received his Masters of Science in Sports Psychology, his Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling and his Doctorate in Sports Psychology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Kirk E. Peterson came to work at Chowan in 2004.

Dan Surface

Education:
Dan Surface received his B.A. degree in Health and Physical Education from Guilford College. He received his Masters of Science in Physical Education from the University of Tennessee. He did additional graduate study at UNC-Greensboro, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Azusa Pacific College, and East Carolina University. Dan Surface came to work at Chowan in 1970.

Missy Hernandez

Education:
Missy Hernandez received her B.S. degree in Physical Education from Coker College. She received her Masters of Science in Sport Administration from Florida State University. She is currently enrolled at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale-Davie, Florida, to receive her Education Doctorate in Higher Education. Missy Hernandez came to work at Chowan in 2006.

Seok Yoon, PhD. Assistant Professor |

Education:
Dr. Seok Yoon received his B.S. degree in Physical Education from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. He received his Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He earned his doctoral degree in the area of Health Physical Activity Behavior at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Yoon joined to work at Chowan in 2008.
