By highlighting individual talents through various events and by taking informative annual class trips, students will already have their foot in the door of the art world.

The Visual Art department here at Chowan is always active, with

• regular gallery shows,
• featured artists,
• art sales and auctions,
• student competitions and
• graduating senior shows,

just to name a few of the exciting events that our department has to offer all year long!

Located directly on campus, the Green Hall Art Galleries are very fun and very popular.

Also during the year, students can take class trips to see the various Smithsonian art museums in Washington, DC, and students will also have the chance to study abroad at extravagant locales such as the esteemed Louvre Museum in Paris, France!
