Christina Rupsch Associate Professor of Visual Art Chairperson of the Department of Visual Art

Education:
Christina Rupsch received her B.S. degree in Art from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point. She received her Masters of Education in Special Education from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. She received her Masters of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Drawing from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Christina Rupsch came to work at Chowan University in 1994.

Jeffrey P. Whelan Assistant Professor of Graphic Design

Education:
Jeff Whelan received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting from the University of Southern Maine. He received his Masters degree in Communication from Regent University's School of Radio, Film and Television, where he specialized in Animation and Screen Writing. He did additional graduate study with The Portland School of Art at Pratt Institute. He will be receiving his Masters of Fine Arts in Illustration, specializing in Illustration and 3-D Animation, from East Carolina University's School of Art and Design in the fall of 2007. Jeff Whelan came to work at Chowan University in 2000.
