Psychology

Students choosing careers in the mental health arena as a counselor, therapist or psychologist would follow the Department of Psychology’s Counseling/ Applied Track program.

Our expert faculty will first teach their students the fundamentals of human behavior and experience, as well as the scientific method necessary in the observation, diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Through the semesters, students will advance to even more interesting and informative classes like

• Psychology of Religion,
• Abnormal Psychology
• and even Animal Behavior!

All our students in the Applied Track will have the opportunity to use their acquired counseling skills in both client/counselor dramatizations in the classroom and in actual counseling settings working with clients!
