Graphic Communication Curriculum

The William A. Krueger School of Graphic Communication offers a two year Associate Degree in Printing Production and Imaging Technology (A.P.P.I.T.) and a four year Baccalaureate Degree in Graphic Communication.

The Associate Degree Printing Production and
Imaging Technology (A.P.P.I.T.)
Student must complete a total of 65 credit hours which include:

  • 23 credit hours from the Core Curriculum.
  • 33 credit hours from the Graphic Communication Curriculum.
  • 9 credit hours from a selected track.
  • Earn a grade no lower than a "C" in all Graphic Communication (GC) courses.
  • Earn a GC Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.5.
  • Earn an overall GPA of 2.0 or better.

The Bachelor Degree - Graphic Communication
Student must complete a total of 128 credit hours which include:

  • 39 credit hours from the Core Curriculum.
  • 59 credit hours from the Graphic Communication Curriculum.
  • 18 credit hours from an area of concentration.
  • 12 credit hours of free electives
  • Complete one 3 credit hour writing intensive course from the Core Curriculum.
  • Complete one 3 credit hour writing intensive coure from the GC Curriculum.
  • Earn no lower than a "C" in all GC courses. (concentration courses excluded)
  • Earn a GC GPA of at least 2.5. (concentration courses excluded)
  • Earn an overall GPA of 2.0 or better.
