Part of Chowan's commitment to a real world, Christian education incorporates campus ministries.
Chowan University's Campus Ministry is a pastoral mission, which covenants to honor God and edify the University community while sharing the light and truth of God’s salvation by:
- Modeling the ethics of Jesus Christ,
- Rendering grace-filled pastoral care and crisis management,
- Promoting justice and unity as local and global Gospel citizens,
- Nurturing relationships among the University family, and
- Helping others seek, meet, and follow God.
The Campus Ministry Team, led by Mari Wiles, gives students incredible opportunities to grow spiritually through worship and service alike.
- Campus Worship calls the Chowan community together for authentic Christian fellowship that balances biblical relevance and reverence!
- Instruments of Praise, Chowan's popular gospel choir, is a student-led ministry grounded on Bible study, prayer, and spreading God's word through song.
- Residence Hall Bible Studies provide a small group atmosphere to equip students to become disciples of Jesus Christ and live out the Great Commission.
- Mission Experiences give students the opportunity to share God’s love through local, national, and global service projects.
- The Campus Ministry Team can help students choose from dozens of churches in the area. There is a wide variety of denominations.
- Revival teams, a praise dance team, and service missions are also facilitated through campus ministries.

Study Abroad in the Holy Land. Students learn more about Christ when they walk where He walked. Walk on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, pray at Calvary, and sing songs of praise as you walk the city streets of Jerusalem.
